Publishing without the Features

For web authors who are not yet using the templates created in the FEAT project, we provide checklists to remind you of some of the most important accessibility issues when publishing.

If your templates do not yet include built-in accessibility support by default, there are a number of steps you need to take to ensure the content you create is becoming accessible. To support you - and to show the difference between authoring in a standard publishing environment compared to using the FEAT templates - we have developed a set of checklists.

If you would prefer the authoring tool templates to do the job for you, please note that all built-in accessibility features and support in these templates are free to use for anyone. You can ask your IT-supplier to upgrade your authoring environment for you, or contact an accessibility expert company.
