My role at Funka
As an EU Project Manager, I am in charge of implementing successful proposals in collaboration with organisations from all over Europe that allow Funka to raise its profile in the niche area of accessibility. I also play a role in identifying fund-raising opportunities for Funka to maintain and build a future project pipeline taking advantage of well-established relations and reaching out to new partners.
My driving force of the job
I have joined the Funka R&I Team because I fully endorse the mission and vision of the company. I deeply believe in innovation with and for a societal impact and support to SMEs – both at policy level and with concrete measures. Europe endeavours to achieve societal impact and solve challenges – Funka does that in practice by providing advice and expertise on how to co-create inclusive digital solutions with users.
I have been working for different organisations in Brussels since 2004. First, I worked on industrial and employment policies as a policy advisor for the largest Hungarian business confederation (MGYOSZ Brussels Office) and then I moved to the Research and Innovation field and I advocated for its territorial dimension in the European Framework Programmes – one year as head of a regional office (North Hungary EU Office) and more than ten years as a project manager for a European network (ERRIN). I managed projects on public engagement, co-creation and digital health, active and healthy ageing.
I have Hungarian origins but living abroad since 2003. I did my higher-education in Hungary and France. I enjoy living in a multi-cultural environment. I am passionate about healthy living, nutrition and sport. What is important to me is gathering positive people around me and creating unforgettable, valuable memories with them.
