My role at Funka
I examine interfaces to improve usability and make them more accessible for all, usually it is about examining digital interfaces. I hope that, given more experience, I will also be able to conduct inspiring training sessions. I am certified Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) through International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
The driving force of the job
I am driven by the desire to design for all and also to be able to communicate what usability and accessibility is and how it is achieved. It is exciting to find new solutions through innovation and creativity.
I have a master of science in engineering and of education, with several courses in Human-Computer interaction. It proved to be a perfect preparation for analysis work here at Funka. I have also worked as an accompanying person.
It is fun to learn new things and to get involved with different projects, especially in cooking, music or crafts. The most recent was a course in forging which made me want to learn more, now I want my own forge! But that may change when I try something else. I also like to spend time with my fiancé, preferably at his childhood home on Gotland, an island in the Baltic Sea.
