My role at Funka
I’m one of our accessibility and usability experts, specifically on technical and pedagogical accessibility.
The driving force of the job
The driving force of working with accessibility is the wish that everyone is included in society. In order to be a full member of society, one has to be able to participate in the digital landscape. That demands that everyone actually has the possibility. That is why I’m very happy to contribute to an accessible web – for everyone!
I have a degree in interaction design. My thesis was on the elderly, the use of ICT and their motivations and troubles in using technology.
I’m known as ”the Queen of marathons”, since I’m a master of binge-watching shows in an, arguably, above average pace. I’m not entirely sure how much I like that description, since I feel I’m a fairly active person, spending time traveling, in the gym and in the great outdoors. Beyond that, I love a good book and some tea!
