My role at Funka
I’m an Art director. I am Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) through International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
The driving force of the job
I’m motivated by finding creative solutions wherein solid design choices enables an easy and elegant flow of information. For me, it’s important to make a difference and it feels great to go to work every morning, knowing that my work contributes to more people getting access to information.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication and project management. I have also studied art at a Folk High School. I previously worked at the Swedish Migration Agency main offices, where I was tasked with everything from planning and execution of communication strategies, production of information pamphlets, web design, illustration and animation. I have also had my own marketing business.
My childhood home is Ljungby in southern Sweden, but I have moved around some and am now living with my daughter and my partner south of Stockholm. Art and design are my main passions, and I love to visit art exhibitions and museums for inspiration. When I feel the need to relax, I usually do it by weeding my garden or bringing out my knitting needles, in front of a movie, with a cup of tea.
