My role at Funka
My tasks deal with the coordination of EU funded projects including technical and financial management, promotion and exploitation of project results, and liaisons with stakeholders at large. I am also involved in all the phases for the project proposals preparation, from the consortium establishment to the application submission. Working through deadlines and code of practices, maintenance of accurate record of events and reports, ensuring appropriate liaisons with European officers, clients and providers are part of my responsibilities.
The driving force of the job
An international environment is for me the natural arena where I can better express my personal and professional competences and vocation. I always oriented my job activities towards policy analysis, research and innovation actions devoted to improving communities and individuals quality of life and contribute to achieve a more inclusive society.
Graduated in Political Science with a post-graduate master in European studies, I have been visiting lecturer in EU Law at the University of Pavia and expert in cohesion policy at the Italian Ministry of Economy. With more than 15 years of experience in EU project management, I served as Program Manager of the EU operations at Lombardia Informatica s.p.a having the responsibilities for the coordination and implementation of research, innovation and transnational projects in the areas of healthcare and eHealth. In this role, I provided the General Directorate for Health of Regione Lombardia with scientific and technical assistance in European and interregional initiatives.
I believe that traveling increases our knowledge, widens our perspectives and feed our minds. Reading a good book, attending a cultural performance, or visiting an art exhibition is like traveling to get newly inspired and motivated. I live and work in Milano whose discrete beauty is always source of inspiration and motivation for me. My family roots are proudly in countryside where our vineyard produces an authentic red wine to share with friends.
