First meet up at IAAP Nordic September 26
To inform about the new local, or rather regional, chapter of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals, IAAP, Funka invites you to an informal meet up in Stockholm, Sweden, Tuesday September 26.
During the event, we will explain our plans for the chapter, the webinars and certification and what it means to become a member of IAAP now that there will be more local activities going on.
Everyone is heartly invited; end user organisations, professionals from private and public sector, individuals with a disability, researchers and anyone else who is interested in accessibility and inclusion.
Please note that IAAP has a broad perspective when it comes to accessibility, but most of the activities have been focused on digital accessibility, at least until now.
This meet up will be held in Swedish, and will be followed by similar events in Norway, Denmark and Finland.
During the event, we will also inform about the EU-funded project COMPARE, which is aiming to discuss interpretation of WCAG success criteria among accessibility experts and hopefully reach consensus. If you would like to discuss details of accessibility testing on a nerd level, this is the place to start!
