Funka redesigns a website for the EIP on AHA Reference Sites

The Reference Sites Collaborative Network, part of EIP on AHA, enables cooperation between stakeholders of the Active and Healthy Aging Domain. In order to provide an accessible and more dynamic online presence, they have now assigned Funka for redesigning their website and newsletter.

The Reference Sites are one of the pillars of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing, EIP on AHA. They have a strong strategic importance for scale-up innovative solutions on the digital transformation of health and care across the European Union.

As regional ecosystems, the Reference Sites can mobilise resources, competences and practices, animate stakeholders and enable the development and adoption of innovation in the active and healthy ageing domain. Dissemination and communication activities can play an effective role to enhance the engagement of Reference Sites and better transfer information to the whole community – currently 74 regions across Europe. Reference Sites are grouped under an umbrella network – the Reference Sites Collaborative Network (RSCN) – for the coordination and governance of the activities.

We are working with the RSCN since a long time – says Roberto Zuffada, project manager for European projects at Funka. We have established a fruitful cooperation both with the network as a whole and with single sites in the framework of the WE4AHA project and previous EU initiatives. Now it is time to enhance this cooperation. I am eager to have the opportunity to bring the experience of Funka on web accessibility into a new adventure.

The RSCN recently assigned Funka for providing support to improve its promotional web-based activities, as there is a great need to offer a better service for the Reference Site community while meeting accessibility requirements and securing a dynamic and professional image to the network. Furthermore, an on-line newsletter will give the opportunity to regularly update the members on the network.

The new web site and on-line newsletter will be accessible through the EIP on AHA portal thus multiplying the visibility effect and increasing the recognition of Funka’s expertise in the web domain.
