Survey on procurement of accessibility

The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) is performing a study to better define the knowledge and skills required of a procurement specialist responsible for acquiring accessible ICT goods and services.

The results of this  survey will help to guide the development of the certification of Procurement Specialist in Accessibility. IAAP is now seeking input from professionals who are actively involved in procurement of accessible ICT to provide feedback on these job tasks. 

The IAAP certification programs currently consist of Professional Accessibility Core Competencies covering rules and regulations and Web Accessibility Specialist focusing on development and assistive technology. Adding Procurement Specialist to that list is an important next step, says Susanna Laurin, Vice chairman of IAAP Global Leadership Council.

The IAAP invite you to participate in the process of creating a certification exam by completing a survey accessed through the link provided below.  Also, feel free to forward this to other professionals involved in procurement of accessible ICT.

The last day to complete the survey is 31 of January.
