The Swedish Monitoring Agency chooses Funka

The monitoring agency for the Web Accessibility Act, has signed a framework agreement with Funka and a number of other suppliers.

The framework agreement will cover DIGG's need for consulting services in various areas of activity, both individual expert initiatives and longer management assignments. The agreement covers eleven areas of competence where Funka is proud to have the opportunity to deliver on all, not least the Web accessibility area.

The agreement runs for 24 months with the possibility of an extension of 12 + 12 months, which means a total contract duration of a maximum of 48 months.

We see great potential in being able to assist DIGG in their mission for increased web accessibility, says Hannes Hagman, sales manager at Funka. Now we are waiting for the agreement to be used and looking forward with excitement to a close cooperation with DIGG.

DIGG's web access expert Tommy Olsson was one of the speakers at Funka's Accessibility Days 9-10 April, where he presented the agency’s planned work on information, support and control of how the requirements of the Web Accessibility Directive are complied with.
