When accessibility is a matter of course
The Swedish Association of Teaching Material Authors is not covered by the European legislation on web accessibility. But the new website must meet the requirements and function for everyone, this is nevertheless in focus when Funka re-develops the organisation's external website.
The organisation (SLFF) has been a client of Funka for many years. In 2019 a new graphic profile was introduced. In the spring of 2020, it is time to implement the new identity on the website, which Funka has been given the responsibility for.
We want our association to be accessible to everyone, and then it is a matter of course that our website should be. We feel confident in giving that responsibility to Funka, says Frida Engman, associate director of the Swedish Association of Teaching Material Authors.
Focusing on good usability and accessibility, Funka conducts workshops with customers where we develop content, structure, concepts and design. The completed website is expected to be launched at the end of April.
The Swedish Association of Teaching Material Authors is an exciting and ambitious client, whom it is always rewarding to work with, says Anders Beinhoff, Technical project manager at Funka.
