The European Accessibility Act sets requirements for digital accessibility throughout the value chain: manufacturers, authorized representatives, importers and distributors of products and services are covered by the Act. The requirements for accessibility of products and services covered by the law, also apply in public procurement.
Products affected include computers, smartphones, e-books and self-service terminals. Services affected include banking services, ticketing systems and e-commerce.
