Publishing & Accessibility

Accessibility is much more than just technology! As a web editor you bear a great responsibility for ensuring that the website is accessible for all users. In order for the content to be readable and structured for users of assistive tools and users with special needs, comprehensive knowledge about accessibility from an editorial perspective is a must.

Design/UX & Accessibility

In this training we look at how UX, design, and accessibility interconnect, what points are touched on in WCAG, as well as the added value of having users with functional impairments participate in use tests.

Development & Accessibility

This training is for anyone who wants to learn more about how to actually achieve accessibility in purely technical terms. According to both regulatory requirements and Funka’s recommendations. We show clear examples of good and bad code, review requirements and explain what works and what doesn’t.

Apps & Accessibility

This training is intended not only for anyone who develops apps, but also for anyone working with UX/Design or testing who wants to learn what actually needs to be done to achieve accessibility in apps for iOS and Android. According to both regulatory requirements and Funka’s recommendations.

Law & Accessibility

This training provides you concrete knowledge of applicable regulations and how your organisation is affected by the Web Accessibility Directive. This training is for anyone who manages, orders, specifies, purchases, develops, procures, publishes, designs, manages projects in, writes or otherwise works with websites, intranets or apps within the public sector. All roles are affected by more stringent requirements on accessibility.
