Web Accessibility Directive (WAD) Review Validation Workshop
As part of the 11th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) and Funka’s Friday webinar series, you are invited to a workshop where we will discuss the impact of one of the most important pieces of European legislation for accessibility, The Web Accessibility Directive.
On behalf of the European Commission, Funka, Intellera Consulting, Open Evidence and PwC have carried out a review of the Web Accessibility Directive, how it is currently working and what can be improved. In this assignment, we have collected and analysed data, monitoring reports, experiences and input from all Member States and relevant stakeholders. It’s now time to share and validate the main highlights, lessons learned and conclusions with you!
The workshop will feature presentations from representatives of the European Commission and the Study Team, as well as interactive elements.
During this workshop, you will:
- discover the main insights from the review of the Web Accessibility Directive.
- be presented with the main conclusions from the study after analysing all the data collected.
- have a chance to discuss the findings with the study team and have your say!
This event will be held in English with live captioning and International Sign interpretation.
