Making MS Excel and PDF documents accessible

Learn how to produce accessible documents so that everyone can access the content on equal terms. We take a closer look at Excel and the possibilities for working with accessibility in the programme.

For whom?

The course is aimed at those who work with reporting, administration, budget documentation and statistics or similar in Excel. No matter what you work with, you need to know how to create accessible documents.

To get the most out of this course, we recommend that you first take the course Introduction to creating accessible documents.

About the course

During the course, you will not only learn the technical aspects of accessible document production in Excel, but also how to think about data tables, headings and charts to get the best possible foundation. We also go through complex applications such as the accessibility check and reading orders in post-processing, in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

After completing the course, you will have the knowledge to build accessible documents directly from scratch in Excel.

The course is based on Microsoft 365 in Windows. Some deviation may occur with functions for users who have Mac, and for those who have older versions of Excel.
